The Give and Take on Education

Apr 18, 2017

Education. It is one of the most important and discussed issues in our state. We see it on the ballot and we see it in the daily headlines.

But what questions do you have? What are your concerns? What actions do you want to see? Join us for the April Give and Take on education.

You'll find us downtown Thursday, April 27 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in the Aaronson Auditorium of the Central Library located at 400 Civic Center. Oklahoma State Superintendent Joy HofmeisterTulsa City Councilor Anna America, and Sand Springs Assistant Superintendent Rob Miller will be our special guests.

There will be an attendance gift and door prizes! You may even win one of the coveted library license plates!

Don't forget to invite your friends! FACEBOOK EVENT

The Give and Take is our event series to build community among public radio listeners and encourage civil discourse on the important issues facing our city, state, and nation, all in a relaxed setting.

The library parking and seating are limited so make sure and plan ahead. The library parking will be validated for up to three hours. Please bring your parking ticket inside with you to validate BEFORE the event. There is also parking near ALoft and the Civic Center (however, there will be an event there that evening).
