Monday's News Update From KWGS

Monday's top stories:

• Monday marks 26 years since the terrorist attack at the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, in which a truck bomb planted by Timothy McVeigh detonated, killing 168 people. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, who led the investigation and prosecution of the attack, will give remarks at a ceremony Monday morning.

• Gov. Kevin Stitt and Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat, both Republicans, appear to not see eye-to-eye on whether the elimination of the corporate income tax is a good idea for Oklahoma.

Chris joined Public Radio Tulsa as a news anchor and reporter in April 2020. He’s a graduate of Hunter College and the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, both at the City University of New York.
