Tulsa, Oklahoma – On this edition of our show, we visit with Tulsa Ballet's Artistic Director, Marcello Angelini. Tulsa Ballet will soon be staging a four-works-in-one performance called "Mediterranea" at its home studio / main office / rehearsal space here in Tulsa: Studio K - Kivisto Hall. (The show will run from May 1st through the 10th; for tickets and other information, visit tulsaballet.org.) As described by Angelini on our program today, the four ballets that comprise "Mediterranea" --- each of which is a newly commissioned piece --- take as their collective muse the culture, climate, artistry, and geography of various countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Angelini also talks with our host Rich Fisher about two exciting performances that this company will be doing in the coming months in New York City and Washington, D.C.
