Scotland Votes On Independence

BBC World Service
Father and daughter George and Anne Mackay's converted caravan serves as a polling station for about 50 residents at Coulags, near Lochcarron, in the Highlands.

Today, voters in Scotland will go to the polls to answer the question, "Should Scotland be an independent country?" The result will have huge implications for the United Kingdom, and will be watched by separatist movements from Spain to Iran to China. We bring you the reaction from both the "Yes" and "Better Together" camps and talk to people around the world who have their own particular interest in seeing whether Scotland will vote to go it alone.

The BBC World Service offers coverage of the referendum, its possible implications, and reaction to the results. Preliminary estimates say the result will be announced sometime between 12:30 - 1:30 AM CT Friday morning.

Listen Live to this continuous special coverage in Tulsa over World Radio 89.5-3 FM, heard only on HD Radios.
