21 Grill Masters compete for the title belt.

It is our privilege to extend to you an invitation to the 5th Annual, Step Up to the Grill on Greenwood Grill Master Cook-Off and Car Show. Hosted by The Step Up Now Foundation Incorporated.

Founded in 2023, The Step Up Now Foundation Incorporated, is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt non- profit organization, aimed at focusing on four distinct initiatives that aid in assisting individuals, not only in Oklahoma communities, but urban communities within our networking base. Our four distinct initiatives are: Employment Facilitation, Entrepreneurial Development, Adolescent Mental Wellness, and Housing Support.
We are dedicated to serving and supporting individuals who aspire to become self-sufficient business owners. Our team is convinced that achieving our mission requires collaboration and partnerships with like-minded organizations. We also believe that adequate training and development are vital to the success of any small business and our initiatives enable us to focus on areas that we believe will assist individuals in contributing to not only the economy, but also enhance our communities.

This event kicked off on Labor Day 2020 and has experienced growth annually.

The purpose of the event is to accomplish a couple of things. The first and foremost goal is to bring the community together. The second goal is to support small businesses in the Tulsa community as well as surrounding areas, and who doesn’t mind good food in the process!
The past 4 years that we have hosted this event, it has generated extraordinary community involvement and our vision for this event long term is to introduce it to neighboring states and beyond. With your support, we hope to get closer to our vision.

Each year, an individual who faced medical challenges, and was in need of financial support was selected as a recipient to collect money that was raised on their behalf.

This year, which will be our 5th Annual event, we are raising money to support the Step Up Now Foundation Inc. and our 4 Distinct Initiatives: Employment Facilitation, Entrepreneurial Development, Adolescent Mental Wellness, Housing Support.

Our events depend solely on small business owners who are trying to build their businesses, other small businesses who are trying to gain exposure, and most importantly, our sponsors!

We are convinced that as this event expands, it will foster growth among other small businesses. It will also allow us to achieve our mission:
To facilitate collaboration between small businesses while assisting and supporting the development of individuals who are driven toward entrepreneurship.
