Tulsa, OK – Tulsa's Mayor says councilors have the numbers wrong. Mayor Bartlett says the carryover fund balance is not as much as the 2.8 million estimated by the council

The money will be used to restore highway lighting and firefighters on September 1st. Four scheduled furlough days will also be eliminated. But the mayor says there's no money right now for pothole and street repair or sand and salt for the winter.

Members of the city council questioned the Mayor's figures. Councilor John Eagleton says the Mayor is not including one time revenue in his figures. Councilor Chris Trail expressed displeasure with the Mayor for failure to purchase salt and sand for next winter.
