Claremore, OK – Stolen school bus wrecked in Rogers County
CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) A stolen school bus was found crashed in Rogers County.
Authorities were summoned at about 5 a.m. Saturday after someone saw the bus in a ditch near the Verdigris River.
Tulsa television station KOTV reports that no one was found in or around the bus. Officials say it appears the driver lost control on a curve. A long stretch of skid marks trailed the bus, which crashed through a guardrail and flipped into the ditch.
Authorities say the bus was stolen from Northeast Technology Center in Claremore.
