Luther, OK – Small earthquake recorded in central Oklahoma
LUTHER, Okla. (AP) The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a small earthquake near Luther in central Oklahoma.
The survey reports a magnitude 2.8 quake was recorded at 1:36 a.m. about two miles northeast of Luther about 25 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
No injuries or damage is reported.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
