Thousands line up for free Thanksgiving food baskets at Tulsa's John 3:16 mission. Senior Pastor Steve Whitaker says the need is great and the cost of a typical Thanksgiving dinner is higher this year
People waited patiently in the cold for food baskets outside the John 3:16 facility on North Cincinnati Avenue, some for a couple of hours. Whitaker expects to hand out between five and six thousand Thanksgiving baskets this year. The giveaway continues through Wednesday or until the baskets are gone.
