Johnson, OK – 3 small earthquakes reported in central Oklahoma
JOHNSON, Okla. (AP) Several small earthquakes have been reported in central Oklahoma in an area where a larger quake occurred earlier this month.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the strongest of the tremors, a 3.3 magnitude temblor, was recorded at 2:09 p.m. Friday about three miles northwest of Johnson in Pottawatomie County.
A temblor with a magnitude of 3.2 was recorded about a minute earlier in Prague in Lincoln County, and another earthquake was reported at 3:24 p.m. about three miles southeast of Meeker.
Dispatchers at the Lincoln County and Pottawatomie County sheriff's offices said they hadn't received any reports of injuries or damage.
