Tulsa, OK – Former Oklahoma law professor to discuss new book
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Former University of Oklahoma law professor Anita Hill will be discussing and signing copies of her new book Tulsa.
Hill's visit to Rudisill Regional Library Wednesday night is sponsored by the Tulsa City-County Library's African-American Resource Center and the Tulsa Library Trust.
Hill is best known for testifying in 1991 during the Senate confirmation hearing for future U.S. Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas. She accused Thomas of sexually harassing her when the two worked together.
Hill wrote the book, "Speaking Truth to Power," about her experience and has penned a new work, "Reimagining Equality: Stories of Gender, Race and Finding Home."
The Morris native now teaches courses on law, race and gender equality at Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
