Tulsa, OK – The fate of Tulsa's mail processing center is discussed . A public hearing was held last night. The processing center is targeted for closure. Postal Union spokeswoman Stacy Boyd says that would take a big bite out of Tulsa's economy.\\
She says 573 jobs would be lost or eliminated. That would be a 20-million dollar hit to the city's economy.
Boyd says closing the center would slow down the mail. If it is closed, she says it would take two-to-three days to get a letter across town.
