Tulsa, OK – Tulsa woman charged in husband's death is jailed

TULSA, Okla. (AP) A Tulsa woman charged with second-degree murder in connection with her husband's fatal fall from a high rise apartment is back in jail after her bond was revoked.

A Tulsa County district judge revoked Amber Hilberling's bond Thursday for failing to comply with requirements of an electronic monitor she was wearing. Prosecutors say Hilberling failed to keep the monitor charged.

Hilberling's attorney told reporters that the monitor's battery died while she was hospitalized with an undisclosed illness and that the hospital staff refused to allow a charger into her room.

She's due back in court Monday.

Hilberling is charged in the June death of Joshua Hilberling who fell from a 25th floor window onto the top of a parking deck 17 floors below.

She has pleaded not guilty.
