Tulsa, OK – Traffic smash-ups delayed Tulsa's morning commute. There were numerous wrecks, including on the Tulsa Expressway system. One accident on the Broken Arrow Expressway west of I-44 (photo) clogged the drive to work. Another accident on the BA near Utica also backed-up the traffic.
Highway 169 was also a problem area, with wrecks over the BA Bridge and back at 71st Street. Accidents also littered the city streets as well.
Several people were injured and taken, by EMSA, to area hospitals. The Police Department sent a Tweet warning of slick streets because of the rain. The department urged extreme caution.
