Oklahoma City, OK – Cocaine trafficking complaint after OKC road chase
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma City police have arrested two men on cocaine trafficking charges after a high-speed chase.
The chase began shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday when an officer tried to make a traffic stop at Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue. The car didn't stop and speeds reached 100 mph.
The vehicle eventually crashed into a natural gas pipe and the suspects were arrested after they tried to flee on foot.
The Oklahoman reports that police arrested 35-year-old Torray Payne and 24-year-old Daryl Taylor.
Police say a large amount of cocaine and cash was found in the vehicle.
Both suspects are held on complaints
