Parents Reassured

Tulsa, OK – Parents in the Union School District are keeping a close watch of their kids. This after a suspected case of bacterial meningitis at the district's Jefferson Elementary School.

Kim Wilson is the principal. She says the school has been disinfected. The student in question has not been back to school.

The health department would like to stress that the case has NOT been confirmed and that does not appear to by the same strain has hit the Oologah-Talala schools in 2010 that killed two students.
