A follow-up to a story from this morning’s newscasts: We now know more about last night’s fatal crash on North Cincinnati Avenue. The driver of the car, that was going the wrong direction on Cincinnati, was 78-year-old Jim Vinson. He has been arrested on a “Driving Under the Influence” complaint and for manslaughter.
He hit an oncoming car nearly head-on. That crash left a passenger in the oncoming car dead. She has been identified as 28-year-old Sheron Armstead. The driver of the car is in the hospital in critical condition.
The accident happened just before nine o’clock last night between Mohawk Boulevard and 36th Street North.
