Mandatory Water Rationing for Broken Arrow is lifted

BA Chamber of Commerce

The City of Broken Arrow instituted  a mandatory water rationing effective immediately for all water customers in Broken Arrow. It was lifted several hours later when repairs were made.

Water customers were advised to restrict use of water to drinking and cooking purposes only.

Electrical issues with the high service pump at the water treatment facility caused the pump to quit working.

With only 3 smaller pumps currently providing water to customers, the city had limited ability to pump water into the city.
