Tulsa Police to Crackdown on Impaired Drivers

Tulsa Police

In 2010, 10,288 people died in car crashes, which the driver was at or above the legal limit. The numbers are still too high for impaired driving, and the Tulsa Police are under an intense crackdown. The Tulsa Police are committed to ending these fatal accidents due to impaired driving. The intense crackdown began August 17th and will continue throughout Labor Day weekend, which ends September 3rd.

A countywide saturation event will be on Saturday August 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. There will be several speakers including Chief Chuck Jordan.
