Small Earthquake In Central Oklahoma

USGS

CROMWELL, Okla. (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey reports a small earthquake has been recorded in central Oklahoma.

The agency reports a 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 3:05 a.m. Saturday in the Seminole County town that's about 60 miles east of Oklahoma City and about 60 miles southwest of Tulsa.

The Seminole County sheriff's office says there are no reports of injury or damage.

Geologists say earthquakes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans.
