TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says it has joined the investigation into the death of a woman in Tahlequah.
The OSBI said Saturday that Tahlequah police asked the agency for assistance in looking into the death of the woman whose body was found about 6 p.m. Friday by an officer conducting a welfare check at the request of the woman's friends.
The woman's name and suspected cause of death have not been released.
The OSBI says investigators have made no arrests and are searching for the woman's missing car — a red, 2011 Ford Fiesta with Oklahoma license plate 098HQO.
