A 35 year old man is dead in a motorcycle accident on Highway 169 in Tulsa. The crash happened about 2AM this morning on the expressway, south of 71st Street.
The Tulsa Police Department says the motorcycle rider was traveling at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a Ford Pick-up.
Authorities say the driver of the motorcycle was dead at the scene. The pick-up driver was not hurt.
Highway 169 was closed for several hours, south bound, as officers investigated the crash. The roadway was opened just after 6AM.
