A WIND ADVISORY is post for the Tulsa area and all of northeast Oklahoma. A cold front is bring a wind shift to the north. Winds have guested to 46 mph in Tulsa. Forecasters say the strong winds will be with us most of the day.
The winds caused some power lines to come down. PSO is working on power related wind problems.
The winds will push our wild fire threat to high this afternoon. Even with last night's drizzle, the wind will quickly dry tall grass and any fire will spread rapidly.
