Tulsa’s Port of Catoosa reaches a milestone. Since opening more than 40 years ago, the inland waterway has now shipped 75 million tons of cargo. Port Director Bob Portiss says even building the facility showed a lot of faith because many didn’t think an inland waterway would work in Tulsa.
An upgrade to the dock is underway that should double the capacity for dry cargo shipments.
