Tulsa Police make a grim discovery in far east Tulsa. Officers find the bodies of four people inside a home near 51st and 177th East Avenue. All the victims had been shot.
Police say it appears to be a triple-murder/suicide. Officers speculate the man shot his two sons, ages 6 and 10 and then his wife. Officers believe the man then turned the gun on himself.
Police, at this point, do not have a motive. Officers were called to check on the family after the parents had failed to show-up for work.

On 04/01/2015 at 3:27 PM Tulsa Police arrived at a residence at 18610 E 49th St in response to a check on the wellbeing of two adults that have not been to their work for the past two days. Police arrived and did not find anything unusual. Officers made entry into the house and found four bodies, all deceased. The four bodies are believed to be from the same family which included the father, age 42 mother, age 38 and two male children ages ten and six. The evidence indicates that the father shot and killed the children and the wife before turning the gun on himself. There is no sign of forced entry and the gun recovered was in possession of the handgun believed to be used in the murders. There is evidence of multiple gunshots throughout the house. All the bodies were found in different rooms throughout the house. Tulsa Police are not looking for any suspects.
