OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Unemployment rates in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metropolitan areas have increased in April.
According to federal and state data released Wednesday, the Tulsa area's unemployment rate rose to 3.8 percent from March's 3.6 percent rate. But it was below the 4.1 percent rate recorded a year ago at the same time.
The unemployment rate in the Oklahoma City area was recorded at 3.4 percent in April, up 0.1 percentage points from March but still lower than a year earlier.
