Storms Likely on Saturday

NWS Graphic

It has been a wonderful week, weather wise. But, wouldn't you know it, it will all change for the weekend.

Forecasters are predicting a strong could cold front to sweep through the area on Saturday. That will put an end to our comfortable 70-degree weather. The front could also set off some strong to severe thunderstorms in the area. The National Weather Service says a few isolated tornadoes can not be ruled out.

The cold front will set off showers and storms by the start of Tulsa's Downtown Christmas Parade, Saturday evening at 6.  Forecasters says temps will be in the 60s for the parade. Sunday promises to be more seasonal with rain.
