Bristow Storm was a Tornado

file photo

The National Weather Service in Tulsa confirms damage, north of the Creek County town of Bristow, was caused by a tornado. The twister hit during the 5 p.m. hour yesterday. The area was under a TORNADO WARNING at the time.

There have been no reports of serious injures, but damage is said to be widespread.

We do not know the tornado's E-F rating as of yet. It is the latest in a string of Green Country twisters that have hit this spring.
