Delta Still Dealing With Backlog

KWGS News

A day and a-half after Delta Air Lines was hit by a global computer outage, travelers are still encountering canceled and delayed flights.

By early afternoon, more than 500 of today's Delta flights had been scrubbed, and nearly 1,200 were delayed -- according to the tracking service FlightStats. This, on top of the 1,000 that were scrubbed yesterday.

The airline is struggling to recover from an outage at its Atlanta headquarters early yesterday that brought a global meltdown of its booking and communications systems.

Delta is offering refunds and $200 in travel vouchers to people whose flights were canceled or delayed at least three hours.
