Five Tulsa School Elementary Schools and the Tulsa MET Junior High were locked down at lunchtime today.
Tulsa Police are investigating a 12:15 p.m. shooting in a neighborhood near Easton and Norwood on the city’s north side. Police say a man was shot in the stomach.
That resulted in the schools being placed on lockdown while police canvassed the area. A woman was arrested and police are search for a male armed with a rifle.
There is no word on the victim's condition or what led up to the shooting. The locks down was lifted about 1:30 after it was learned the man had left the area in a car.
