Acclaimed as an outstanding ensemble of distinguished virtuosi, performing widely diverse repertoire in creatively programmed concerts, the New York Chamber Soloists have maintained a unique niche in the chamber music world for over five decades.

With more than 250 works in their repertoire, the Chamber Soloists have made a valuable contribution to the musical life of this country, and have helped to expand the audience for chamber music. On Sunday, March 15th a quintet of artists representing the ensemble appeared at Christ the King Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, presented by Chamber Music in Oklahoma. In this fourth concert of the series this season, the players offered a program featuring works for piano and winds by Mozart and Beethoven and including the Divertimento No. 4 in B-flat Major for oboe, clarinet and bassoon, K439b, the Quintet for piano and winds in E-flat Major, K452 and the Rondo for solo piano in a minor, K511 by Mozart and a selection of bagatelles from the Op 33 set, the Duo for clarinet and bassoon in C major WoO 27, No. 1 and the Quintet in E-flat Major for piano and winds by Beethoven.
