Tulsa, OK – One man is in custody after making a bomb threat at the security check point at the Tulsa International Airport. The incident happened last night.

Airport authorities say 42-year-old Timothy Hathaway walked up to the check point claiming to have a bomb in a bag he was carrying. The TSA officer called Tulsa Airport Police to the scene, but Hathaway fled as officers arrived. Officers gave chase and caught Hathaway.

The Tulsa Police bomb squad was called but it turns out there was no explosive device in the bag.

Hathaway is being held without bond in the Tulsa jail.
