WELLSTON, Okla. (AP) — The State Bureau of Investigation says a man found dead near Wellston, Oklahoma has been identified as a Mexican national.
The OSBI said Saturday that the body has been identified as 35-year-old Gustavo Barragan Valencia. A cause of death for Valencia has not been released — but investigators have said homicide is suspected.
Valencia's body was found Wednesday along a rural road near the Lincoln County town about 35 miles east of Oklahoma City.
It was sent to the state medical examiner's office in an effort to determine both the cause and manner of death.
