Tulsa, OK – On this edition of our show, we speak with the appraiser, curator, and educator Lark Mason, who's known to many for his work on the popular and long-running PBS television program, "Antiques Roadshow." Mason is appearing tonight (the 17th) in Tulsa at a "Third Thursday" event at the Philbrook Musuem of Art. The event begins at 6:30pm; it's free with museum admission. This event is subtitled "Rhinoceros Cups Revealed," and at the gathering, Mason will speak in detail about the million-dollar Chinese rhino-horn cups that were discovered a few months ago right here in T-Town --- at a "Antiques Roadshow" taping, no less, with Mason himself doing the appraising. Mason discusses this record-breaking find with us on today's ST, and he also fills us in on his rather extensive background in the dual realms of art and antiques (especially in regard to his knowledge and connoisseurship of Asian pieces).
