Our guest on this edition of ST is Scott Stulen, the President and Director of the Philbrook Museum of Art here in Tulsa, who tells us about a special show now on view at the museum. It's a rich gathering of work by 26 different artists from the well-regarded Chicano art collection of Cheech Marin, the movie actor and author. As Stulen tells us, these pieces engagingly document the Chicano experience through many different media and viewpoints, and they are moreover united by a strong theme of "community." Stulen also tells us about a visit to Philbrook that Marin himself will make on June 22nd, during which he'll talk about his newly released memoir as well as his passion for collecting and displaying art.
