Program Changes on Public Radio 89.5
As you know, it’s been five years since new episodes of Car Talk have been produced, and the Best of Car Talk program ceases distribution this month. While there is no replacing our beloved Click and Clack, we will be moving an EQUALLY riotous program into the Saturday noon timeslot: Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!
Beginning September 23, 2017, Saturday afternoons will look like THIS:
Noon: Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me (now being rebroadcasted Sundays at 5 p.m.!)
1:00: This American Life
2:00: The Moth Radio Hour
3:00: Freakonomics Radio
We’re thrilled to be adding Freakonomics to our schedule, and think you will LOVE it. (Imagine Marketplace and The Hidden Brain birthing a program: it just might be Freakonomics.)
AND new to Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. beginning September 24, The Rhythm Atlas with Denis McGilvray! This new program explores the vast array of musical styles that can be heard all over the globe, from Afrobeat to Zouk.
You can listen to Public Radio Tulsa all day (and night!) online HERE.
