The State of Craft 2021 brings together 22 artists in a survey of juried fine craft ranging from soft sculpture and embroidery to jewelry and metalsmithing that present a diversified look at contemporary artistic talent in Oklahoma. The exhibition is split into three thematic groupings by juror, Jennifer Scanlan. The themes are all connected to ideas and experiences that came to the forefront over the course of the pandemic. This project is supported in part by the Oklahoma Arts Council, which receives support from the State of Oklahoma and the National Endowment for the Arts.
