The School Cafeteria Gets Fresh

“Mystery Meat Monday” may no longer be a mystery in the state’s public school cafeterias. Schools across the state are taking the Made-In-Oklahoma process at step further.

They are buying farm fresh products. They are primarily using fresh fruits vegetables, but hope to expand the program says Chris Kirby, who heads up the program.

She says they are working with small and large school districts across the state,  including the Union School District.
