City Council ends a special Vision 2 meeting with a tentative list of proposals for the quality of life spending.
Council Chair G.T. Bynum assures this is just a first draft.
“(We want to be) real clear to folks and making sure everyone understands,” he said, “this is purely a draft, with full acknowledgement that we have more information that we as a council want to gather.”
Further public forums this week will provide some of that information.
Currently the draft allocates $71 million of the $158 million of Tulsa’s quality of life share to Arkansas River dams.
Two more public hearings will be at 6 p.m. on September 25 and 6 p.m. on September 26, both in the City Hall Council Chamber.
