OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Several mild earthquakes have given a shaking to parts of central Oklahoma but no damage or injuries have been reported.
The strongest of the quakes was magnitude 3.2 about 13 miles east of Oklahoma City. The U.S. Geological Survey says the 1 p.m. quake was centered three miles deep and three miles east of the town of Jones.
Oklahoma City television station KWTV (http://is.gd/x2Rf2d ) reports the first quake was also near Jones, striking at about 3 a.m. with magnitude 2.7.
A magnitude 2.8 quake followed at about 7 a.m. near Boxley, about 60 miles east of Oklahoma City.
