STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — A 25-year-old Oklahoma woman is set to appear in court on murder and assault charges in a car crash at Oklahoma State University's homecoming parade that killed four people and injured dozens more.
Adacia Chambers is due in Payne County District Court in Stillwater on Monday. She's been jailed on $1 million bond since the Oct. 24 crash and is formally charged with four counts of second-degree murder and 46 counts of assault. She has yet to be arraigned.
A court filing Monday shows the judge assigned to the case, Katherine Thomas, has recused herself because she knows one of the victims. Louis A. Duel has been appointed in her place.
Prosecutors are seeking a gag order and have asked the court to seal Chambers' mental health records.
