TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Prosecutors are planning to honor former Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris by naming the agency's victim witness center after him.
The Tim Harris Victim Witness Center for Tulsa County will be dedicated November 24th during a reception at the county courthouse downtown.
Harris announced in 2013 that he would not seek re-election the following year.
Harris had been a prosecutor in Tulsa County for more than 27 years and served 15 years as the district attorney for the state's second-largest city.
