TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A jury has awarded $25,000 in damages to a former female inmate who said in a lawsuit that she was sexually assaulted at the Tulsa County Jail. The jury's decision was announced Wednesday in federal court.

The lawsuit filed on behalf of the 23-year-old woman says she was repeatedly sexually assaulted over a four-month period in 2010 by a jail detention officer.
