LAWTON, Okla. (AP) — The Lawton Police Department says officers have made the department's largest-ever seizure of prescription drugs.
Police officers went to a home Wednesday morning to execute a search warrant, which was the result of an investigation between local police and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
Police tell Lawton television station KSWO that officers seized more than 15,000 Xanax pills, more than 2,000 grams of marijuana, six grams of methamphetamine, 17 guns and a large amount of ammunition. Police say that the items seized, which also included two vehicles, had a street value of more than $128,000.
Police say the home's occupant was arrested on multiple drug complaints.
