NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Severe storms, heavy rainfall and flooding are possible throughout Oklahoma as a storm system makes its way through the state.
The National Weather Service says there's a slight risk for strong to severe storms Monday in central Oklahoma, with the strongest storms capable of producing large hail and damaging wind gusts.
The unsettled weather pattern continues Tuesday and Wednesday with an increase in shower and thunderstorm chances across much of the state. Heavy rainfall in some areas of eastern Oklahoma could cause flooding.
Forecasters said Saturday that more chances for thunderstorms are possible later in the week in parts of the state as another system approaches.
