More Flooding Across Eastern Oklahoma

Wagoner County Emergency Management

Sunday’s heavy rain across southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri is making its way into the Grand River. Water is being released from the Grand Lake Dam at Langley. That has water flowing downstream to Lake Hudson and Fort Gibson Reservoir. The water will eventually make its way to the Arkansas River north of Muskogee.

Residents in Mayes, Wagoner and Muskogee Counties are again being told to be ready to evacuate if it becomes necessary.

The area was hit hard by record flooding last month.
