Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan  will have a busy Friday. He will address the city’s 28 newest police officers at graduation ceremonies tomorrow morning at 11. Then after lunch, he will address reporters.

The chief will hold a news conference to announce his plans to retire. Jordan became the police chief a decade ago under the Dewey Bartlett administration.  Current mayor Bynum praised the chief for his service.

His retirement date has not been announced.
