Gov. Kevin Stitt says he and lawmakers are "in the middle of negotiations" on plugging a projected $416.8 million budget hole. The legislature sent him three bills this week to cover it.
The Tulsa Regional Chamber has laid off about 20% of its employees because of the COVID-19 pandemic's economic consequences.
COVID-19 has killed 79 Oklahomans since March 19. The flu has killed 79 since Sept. 1.
