Thursday's News Update From KWGS

Thursday's top stories:

• The state of Oklahoma is declining doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the federal stockpile because it says demand has dropped off among residents. Oklahoma is near the bottom of national rankings for percentage of state population receiving at least one dose.

• About 8% of Oklahomans are not returning for their second dose of vaccine, meaning they are not getting full protection against the coronavirus.

• Saint Francis Health System is leaving the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma network effective July 29th.
