Holland Hall Closed the Rest of the Week, Arts Festival Canceled

Holland Hall

Holland Hall is closed the rest of the week and the annual arts festival it was slated to host has been canceled.

School administrators learned several members of the Holland Hall community were in contact with a family member of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. They said no one within the school is exhibiting symptoms of the illness caused by the coronavirus.

"Please know we are making every effort to display calm to the student body and we would invite you to partner with us in that effort," Head of School J.P. Culley said in a message to families.

Thursday and Friday will be treated as an extension of spring break.

Concern about COVID-19 also led to cancellation of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest arts festival Holland Hall was to host April 2–4. More than 3,500 students and faculty from 43 schools were supposed to attend.
